County positions are not rewards for political allies -- they are positions of public trust owed to the cities, towns, and all Prince Georgians. County contracts are not favors to be doled out -- they are public dollars to be carefully and wisely spent. I am committed to ensuring that the proper use of County resources will be embedded in every executive decision made and action taken.

 

Within the first 100 days of the new administration, we will develop a comprehensive plan that focuses on overcoming the structural barriers to giving Prince Georgians the level of customer service that they deserve. This must be a perpetual goal that always drives us to maintain the highest levels of customer service. Public service demands that every person - from a custodian to County Executive - is fully committed to serving the people of Prince George's County with diligence and excellence each and every day.
